After 35 years in broadcasting, I found a new passion in painting. It is a hobby that brings me great joy…happiness I hope to share with others who enjoy my work. Like golf, it is an endeavor one never masters. There is no “perfect swing” just a wonderful lifelong journey of discovery, learning, practice, good rounds and rounds I’d like to toss. Not every session produces a painting, but every session is a lesson.

I paint en plein air… in French, “in the open air” as well as in my studio. My primary medium is oil but I also dabble with acrylics if the mood hits. Always a student, I adore going to workshops to learn from some of my favorite artists/instructors. Learning, growing and trying to become better at my craft motivates me greatly.
