I revel in observing nature, painting, and photographing the beautiful and diverse topography and the nature that inhabits our world. They are never-ending inspiration! My most successful and satisfying artwork originates with SC nature.

A South Carolina native and impressionist oil painter, April finds inspiration in sunsets and nocturnal scenes. Whether traveling or at home, evenings are spent capturing the drama of light against dark clouds and its reflections on land or sea. Using a mix of palette knife and brushes, she creates rich texture and energetic brushwork. Collectors describe her art as “a feeling they get in their heart,” the highest compliment and ultimate artistic goal.

I often admire the greatest Artist who created everything. Watching the world around me, I try to convey what I see and share with others, the beautiful creation. When I look at the sunset every day, I see that each time it is original and unique. And I just want to tell everyone around me, hey, wait, stop, see how great it is. And in my work I try to capture that moment, feelings, and emotions through color and composition. These moments may never happen again that is why they are so much more beautiful. Life is beautiful and so are you!

Kristin Durkin
I am a self taught artist of 16+ years experience. You will see me wander through different mediums like Oil Paint, Watercolor, Pastels, Pencil, and Gouache. And while I ADORE trying new things, you will always find a love of whimsy, color, and texture as a staple in my art.

My work is inspired by my travels from Iceland, to the Caribbean, to Alaska, to Scotland, and beyond! I have a love of travel and I TRULY think that painting along the journey is the best way to capture the feel of a place.

Hilarie Lambert
Hilarie Lambert finds beauty in the everyday, capturing overlooked moments like light in an egret's wings or a crumpled newspaper under blue crabs. Known for her loose, bold brushstrokes, her work blends whimsy and charm, focusing on side streets, forgotten objects, and unexpected perspectives.
A former graphic designer from New York’s Finger Lakes, Lambert is inspired by her travels in Italy and France and paints prolifically, covering a diverse range of subjects from landscapes to portraits.
